We tried to make the best of Christmas this year. It was the first Christmas without my sister. This December we had SO much snow! It got to the point where I was sick of snow. It was really nice to wake up Christmas morning to it snowing though. Kaui got spoiled this year. Alika got my the best present ever, a heart necklace with my sister's name on it.

December 2008

In the beginning of December I lost my oldest sister, Heather. I am really close to both my sisters, so when Heather passed away it was the hardest thing I have ever been through. This has been really hard on our family. She will be deeply missed by all of us.

October 2008

Sydney came home on November 5th.

Kaui was Little Nemo for Halloween.

Shae came home first on October 28th.

On October 6, 2008 Shae Russell Heath and Sydney Joan Heath were born. They were born at 32 weeks so they had to stay in the NICU for a while.

June 26, 2008 Kaui turned 1. We had a really fun party for her, everyone was there. Alika cooked lots of food. It was WAY too hot tho. I just couldn't believe how fast she grew.

In April we went to Honolulu, Hawaii on the Island of Oahu. It's where my husband was born and raised, and where all of his family is. It was the most exciting vacation I have ever been on. It was extremely HOT, but very beautiful. We did something every single day we were there. Paradise Cove and Waikiki were a couple of places we went. We also got to celebrate my sister in law's birthday. And I finally got to meet more of my family. I loved every minute down there, even though I thought I was going to die from the heat. I can't wait until we get to visit again.

Kaui is crawling everywhere now. She loves her baby cousin Hailey. She was excited when Aunty Lacy and Hailey came to visit us.

February 26, 2008 Hailey Joan Nielsen was born. We were all so excited for Juston and Lacy.

Kaui is seven months old now, and she sits up all by herself.

Kaui has a big sister named Lilly she is 4 years old. She lives with her mom in Montana, so Lilly didn't get to meet her sister until she was a few months old. Lilly is the sweetest little girl and I feel blessed to be her step mom. The first time she met Kaui was really cute. She absolutely loved her. And Lilly was loved my Jessica and the kids too.

December 2007

December is a big month for us. Its me and Alika's anniversary, Christmas, and my birthday. Our first anniversary was especially fun because we got lots of snow. Christmas was nice with the family.

November 2007

Thanksgiving was fun this year, we had everyone together. It was also an exciting month because my mom and dad moved back up to Washington too.

Kaui's first Halloween. We had lots of fun going to the pumpkin patch and trick or treating.

In September 2007 was Peyton's first day of Kindergarten. I was really excited that we got to be here to see Peyton off for her first day.
