The beautiful birthday girl...

June 26, 2008 Kaui turned 1. We had a really fun party for her, everyone was there. Alika cooked lots of food. It was WAY too hot tho. I just couldn't believe how fast she grew.

In April we went to Honolulu, Hawaii on the Island of Oahu. It's where my husband was born and raised, and where all of his family is. It was the most exciting vacation I have ever been on. It was extremely HOT, but very beautiful. We did something every single day we were there. Paradise Cove and Waikiki were a couple of places we went. We also got to celebrate my sister in law's birthday. And I finally got to meet more of my family. I loved every minute down there, even though I thought I was going to die from the heat. I can't wait until we get to visit again.

March 2008

Kaui is crawling everywhere now. She loves her baby cousin Hailey. She was excited when Aunty Lacy and Hailey came to visit us.

February 26, 2008 Hailey Joan Nielsen was born. We were all so excited for Juston and Lacy.

Kaui is seven months old now, and she sits up all by herself.

Kaui has a big sister named Lilly she is 4 years old. She lives with her mom in Montana, so Lilly didn't get to meet her sister until she was a few months old. Lilly is the sweetest little girl and I feel blessed to be her step mom. The first time she met Kaui was really cute. She absolutely loved her. And Lilly was loved my Jessica and the kids too.

December 2007

December is a big month for us. Its me and Alika's anniversary, Christmas, and my birthday. Our first anniversary was especially fun because we got lots of snow. Christmas was nice with the family.

November 2007

Thanksgiving was fun this year, we had everyone together. It was also an exciting month because my mom and dad moved back up to Washington too.

October 2007

Kaui's first Halloween. We had lots of fun going to the pumpkin patch and trick or treating.

September 2007

In September 2007 was Peyton's first day of Kindergarten. I was really excited that we got to be here to see Peyton off for her first day.

August 2007

Alika got a new job in Seattle, Washington so we decided to move to Everett. It was nice to move back to where I grew up. It was also exciting because I wanted Kaui to grow up with her cousins

July 2007

Kaui is one month now. We decided to go visit Seaside, Oregon for the day. It was Kaui's first visit to the ocean.

June 2007

On June 26, 2007 at 1:18 pm my beautiful daughter was born. She was 7 lbs. 11 oz. We named her Louise Kauikeolani Oilau Goo. It was the happiest day of my life. I never imagined what it would feel like to see her for the first time. I feel very blessed to be a mother.
